Changemaker or Harlaxton Essay - Fall 2023

Students entering the University of Evansville as freshmen in Fall 2023 may write an essay of 500 words on one of the options listed below. Students who write meaningful essays with a minimum of 500 words will receive a scholarship valued at $1,000 per year for up to four years ($4,000 value).

Scholarship is applicable for UE students entering in the 2023-24 academic year.

Option B: Harlaxton Essay

The University of Evansville has its own spectacular study abroad center in the U.K. called Harlaxton, and it has been rated the #1 study abroad program by BestCollegeReviews.org. Students who have studied at Harlaxton often say it is one of the biggest highlights of their life. Since it is owned and operated by UE, the tuition at Harlaxton is the same as it is at UE, your financial transfers directly to Harlaxton, and credits earned at Harlaxton are UE credits.
